When using a Shampoo Bar it might be necessary to use an acid rinse. This is because the alkaline level of your hair is raised causing the shaft of your hair to stick out which causes tangles and the feeling that your hair is sticky together. An acidic rinse will help close the hair cuticle and help prevent tangling. You can use vinegar, lemon juice or citric acid. If you do not like the smell of vinegar my hair rinse is for you. It is in concentrated powdered form, great for using in the bathroom or for traveling.

Citric Acid: This might sound scary, but citric acid is used in many food products. It is used as both a flavor enhancer and a preservative ingredient.

Horsetail and Marshmallow: Both are added to help with tangles and add shine.

Silk Peptide: Adds a silky feel.

Essential Oils of Rosemary and Lavender: This combo not only smells good it is also good for your hair.
To use: Put about 1/2 teaspoon or one packet into a cup and add about 8 oz. of water. Pour over hair. You can leave in or rinse out. For really long hair use twice the amount of rinse AND water. Please keep the bag out of the shower and keep dry.
